The California Transportation Commission (CTC) has announced an allocation of 1 billion USD for initiatives aimed at solving challenges in the field of mobility, as well as aid for California’s investments in a more resilient highway system.
Of the total allocated funds, 263 million USD has been pledged by the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 (IIJA), with a further 295 million USD provided via the Senate Bill (SB) 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.
